Workshop Highlights

Classes will take place at 225 South Spurr Street Florence, AL and the event will take place Cypress Lakes Golf & Tennis Club located on 1311 E 6th St, Muscle Shoals, AL 35661.

Day 1 - Morning {we will start at 10 am}

  • How to hold a consultation with your client

  • Where to purchase your inventory (comprehensive list provided)

  • How to brand your business

  • How to build basic backdrops

  • How to get paid

  • How to excel in event planning

  • Q&A

Lunch (provided)

Day 1 - Afternoon:

  • Hands-on: How to create centerpieces

  • Hands-on: How to build backdrops

  • How to organize for a “real-life” event

  • Official event preparation

Day 2 - All Day {we will start at 8 am}

  • Luxe Labs: Full installation for a 150 guest wedding

Day 3 - Real-Life Event {we will start at 8 am}

  • Installation for a “real wedding and reception”

  • Professional photoshoot with a photographer

  • Role assignments

  • How to execute a swift and successful breakdown

  • Wrap-up and departure

What to Wear

Thursday and Friday all black

Saturday morning Luxe T-shirts and black pants

Saturday for pictures shades of lilac, wisteria, purple or sage green


Accommodations

Classes will take place at 225 South Spurr Street Florence, AL and the event will take place Cypress Lakes Golf & Tennis Club located on 1311 E 6th St, Muscle Shoals, AL 35661.

We recommend a 2-3 night stay at one of the following hotels:

  • Nashville Airport

  • Muscle Shoals Airport {very small airport with limited flights}


Important Information

  • Meals Provided: Lunch and materials are included each day.
    Breakfast and dinner are on your own.

  • Certification: You must stay until the end of the workshop to receive your certificate.

  • Hotel Tips: If booking outside our recommendations, check reviews on TripAdvisor before finalizing.


COVID-19 Precautions

Your safety is our priority. Here are the measures we’re taking:

  • Temperatures will be taken at the door.

  • Masks are required at all times.

  • Assigned seating and workstations will be in place.

  • Hand sanitizer will be provided.

  • Social distancing (6 ft apart) is required.

  • If you have symptoms or have been exposed to COVID, please do not attend.

For those uncomfortable attending in person, an online option is available.


Pre-Workshop Checklist

  1. Complete Elements 1-7 and their assignments in Google Classroom. Upload all homework as instructed in the Welcome Section.

  2. Prepare a list of questions after completing the Luxe Academy Online modules.

  3. Practice Element 8 (optional—it will be covered hands-on during the workshop).

  4. Complete the pre-workshop survey by April 20th.

  5. Reach out in Google Classroom if you need help.

  6. Come with a clear mind, positive attitude, and readiness to learn!
