I have always been passionate about learning, teaching, and helping others.
When I started in the event planning arena in 2005, resources and information were scarce. It was almost easier to break into a new jar pickle with wet hands than it was to break into the wedding and event industry. After nearly two decades of trial and error, training, education, miseducation, and self-taught and bought lessons - I am finally combining my years of experience into Luxe Lessons.
Everything that I wish I had known when I began this journey, has been carefully crafted and cataloged in the classrooms of Luxe Academy.

Melanie is a native of Greenville, AL, and she possesses a Master’s in Business Administration and a B.S. in Food Science and Chemistry. She loves Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, Thai food, deal finding, family, and her prince charming Robert. In her free time, you can find her creating, shopping, enjoying a book in a park, or scheduling her next destination. Her latest fascination is with restoring old homes. She plans and designs her opulent events out of her home-based studio in North Alabama.
